Can I get hard copy reports from my View500 system?
YES. View500 provides a highly flexible report generator system that can provide directory listings and reports through the user interface, or directly from the UNIX prompt

Can I print departmental specific reports?
YES. The reporting subsystem can request reports by organisational sub-tree, and on certain criteria contained within each record. Such reports as Facsimile or mobile phone directories can be produced with ease.

Can I transfer price usage of the View500 system throughout my organisation?
YES. View500 offers a facility to produce billing information on-line, based upon usage.

Can I create my own reports?
Yes a new facility available only in Version 6 onweards allows a User (with appropriate Access Control rights) to specify on demand reports with various Directory attributes and as well use Component matching to only produce reports where multiple conditions are satisfied. These results can be produced in a variety of formats such as Word Lists, PDF and CSV.

Does View500 create Organisation Charts
Yes View500 also fromm Version 6 onwards has two new features. Firstly it can create Organisation Charts as an output form based upon the attributes within the directory providing that the attribute :Reportsto exists within each object entry). Secondly View500 version 6 has a new feature called Reporting Lines. This feature shows three levels of the Organisation tree. The person's or Organisational unit entry, the entry superior and any subordinates. It is also posssible to navigate up or down the tree by clicking on an appropriate superior or sub-ordinate. Again this facility is only available to appropriately authorised people using the View500 Attribute based Access control capability (and the ability to control access based upon multiple attributes).
