Is there any limit to the number of users able to log on to the View500 system?
NO. View500 technology places no limitation on the number of users the system can accommodate. The only limitations reside with the number of users your license supports, and secondly, the number of physical users able to connect to your chosen hardware platform.

Are there limitations on the size of a field with the View500 system?
NO. X.500 standards stipulate that fields or attributes are to have no inherent size limitations. If necessary however, the View500 user interface can be tailored to restrict the size of certain fields.

Is there any limit to the size of the database?
The size of the database is only restricted by the capacity of the hardware platform being utilised. There are no practical software limitations on the number of entries that may be present within a Directory Information Tree (DIT). By having multiple DSA's communicating to each other by chaining requests, any practical limitation can be overcome.

What is the largest View500 database in existence and what is the database's size?
The largest View500 database in daily use, has over 100,000 entries, which is used by a large Australian government organization. However, a database of over 32,000,000 entries has been tested with excellent performance results.
