View500 supports X.500's strong authentication. In the security world of authentication there are the notions of 'something you have' (e.g. certificate, smartcard), 'something you know' (e.g. PIN number, password, mothers maiden name) and 'something you are' (e.g. fingerprint, biometrics..). The definition of strong authentication is using at least two of these three to authenticate someone. View supports all three sets of credentials and can do dual factor authentication itself using X.509, PIN/Username password and smartcard.
